Areas of Interest
Professor Krause's research explores several key forces that have contributed to more stable prices and reduced fluctuations in growth and economic activity. In particular, he analyzes the role played by central banks and monetary policy; the importance of financial development and access to credit; the effect of changes in policy making in the onset of an upcoming election; and the consequences of an increased or decreased exposure to international markets.
